Definately a data miner. Fake results...  I would sign up to correct info on me, but then I would be just handing them information to resell. This site skirts around defamation at its best.  STAY AWAY.

***** 394 Complaints ***** website said they were A+ rated by the Better Business Bureau. I checked ***** and they have NO rating at all for them. Lies, all Lies!... ***** An Internet scam formerly known as ***** has been rebranded ***** and continues to defraud people who respond to its spam solicitations, a class action claims in Federal Court. Victims who respond to a message that "someone is looking for you," are offered a "trial subscription" for $5, but are billed $60 or more, billed again monthly, billed again for canceling, and have their computers' address books electronically pilfered for more victims, according to the complaint. ***** He denied the hacking charge, saying, "It's impossible to look into anyone's address book with any authentication." labeled as a "scam" in a lawsuit that claims it tells people "someone" is searching for them, then charges them for "a list of fake names."

It gives accurate information, but uses SCARE TACTICS to trick people into joining a service they probably don't need and might be very effective

I originally signed up to look for relatives worldwide. Since then I have canceled my subscription because I was not getting results that made it worth the money. since then They will not leave me alone. Constantly sending me bogus e-mails stating that either someone is looking for me, pirating my identity, or just saying that I am at risk of my name (as in Who I am) being discredited on other web sights.

They spammed me. When I asked them via Facebook how they got my email address, they responded with my actual first name, rather than my Facebook alias. So, somehow they know my real name based solely on knowing my Facebook alias. In order to provide me with more info, they wanted me to give them even more of my private info. They claim that they "obtain the information through various domains such as court documents, marriage/birth certificates, voter information, census records, etc; all of which are public records." That is a lie because none of those records have my email address or Facebook name/alias. So, I asked them again how they got my email address and real first name based off of knowing only my Facebook user name and they gave me the runaround. When I called them about my privacy concerns, they refused to provide their last names due to privacy concerns. Ironic, ain't it? The supervisor I spoke to was contradicting himself left and right. After each time he promised to tell me who gave them my private info, he told me he could not. Then he denied ever stating that he could give me that info. These guys change names after they get caught in their scams. Formerly ***** and classmates.com.

It also generates too much unwelcome email. One inquiry made months, maybe years ago keeps the mail coming. I am trying to "unsubscribe" even tho' I did not subscribe. Avoid this site.

To test the site's legitimacy, I created and registered a fictitious person presumably living in New York City. The surname is a Welsh unpronounceable hybrid 17 characters long. There is no way anybody with such a surname exists in New York City or anywhere else on the planet. Since then, several times a month, I receive email informing me that numerous persons are looking for me. RED ALERT!!!

Started receiving unsolicited spam from this website about my private data being compromised. It was able to pull a bunch of information about cities I've lived in, haven't lived in and my immediate family members. They claimed to be able to delete this information.

We are being billed on our credit card for services never received. Repeated attempts to cancel this billing have failed.

This is kinda funny to me anyways but I found this site while tracking down a friend I know and all fingers pointed to this site as one of his last stops. Curious about this site I started an account and monitoring their business practice because technically I should have not been able to track him to this site. After a while of watching how they operate I decided its a scam site so I Unsubscribe which I got the confirmation that within 10 days I would be off their email but two months later on they still send me email. This company whither your a member or not will sell your information to 3rd party sites that have been known criminals. There is more stuff going on but take my word and stay away from this site.

This website is a scam! Dont believe the commercial. They're lying to you.

They send spam emails with lies telling you that your personal info is at "HIGH RISK" and "New site exposing & selling your private information" to scare you into their service. This is dirty and underhanded. DO NOT let them fool you. The only info they can find is what is already out there and they CAN NOT remove it.
