Le site overstock.com est-il sûr ?

Overstock's service was a total letdown, man. Their shipping took forever, like snail pace slow. And when my order finally arrived, it was damaged! Customer support? Nonexistent! They left me hanging with no resolution. I'm done with Overstock, never again.

I like this site and often buy furniture there. However, some of their products are vastly overpriced. For example, I've found fire proof safes there that were 70% less at WalMart and Target for the same exact model! I've also bought a bedside nightstand once, which arrived damaged. THREE TIMES!! However, Overstock's customer service always took care of any problems and has refunded money without hassle when things didn't go according to plan. Overall I trust them to do the right thing, I just be sure to check the prices on items before I buy!

They inflate the MSRP of certain items, for example, look up the Boytone BT-15TBSW 7-in-1 player (records, tapes, cd's, etc.). On Manufacturers site (boytone.com) the MSRP is 149 USD. On overstock.com it's 249 $ (2-19-2016). I won't be buying from them for a while. (I bought from them ~10 years ago a couple times, was just okay experience, haven't been able to find what a want at a better price from them than anywhere else since then). Amazon sometimes gets prices off too, I know, however, "smaller" (they're not that small) companies should do better than amazon, in my book, in this regard. Lying about MSRP so "everything" on your site can appear discounted is especially dishonest if this is how you are marketing your WHOLE site. This is NOT how amazon markets their site. You can buy plenty of things on amazon for MSRP, or more if you like, espc. from marketplace, but also direct. Lastly, why does everyone who gives overstock an untrustworthy rating on WOT have lots of disagrees and few agrees? Suspicious, like someone is going through here disagreeing with everyone who has a had a poor customer service experience...
