Le site paypal.com est-il sûr ?

I use PayPal for all my on-line transactions and have never had an issue with them Recently, I had an on-line company refuse to return my purchase amount even though the offered a 60 day guarantee. Thankfully, I used PayPal for this transaction. I reported the issue to PayPal and it was resolved in a matter of a few weeks and I did not have to do anything other than state I wanted a refund. I am very satisfied with PayPal and their services.

For the Consumer, It's a GREAT way to pay as long as you folllow the rules and watch your email in case they "temporarily lock your account" (due to suspected Fraud!)!! If you use your account from many different locations or frequently travel outside your Country of residence, this may occur more often than for those who just use their account from the same computer and location all the time. When your account is temporarily locked, there is a very simple process for "fixing" the situation !! I SPEAK FROM EXPERIENCE !!! (on several occations as I DO travel out of the USA frequently) All you have to do is Log in to your account and follow their instructions. Very sinple really... a bit of an inconvenience, but what if someone from some foreign country WAS trying to "hack" your account!!! You would REALLY be mad if you lost that $5,000. in your PayPal Account; Wouldn't you. I hope that helps someone!!!

Wenn ich mich bei PayPal wieder auslogge, lotst mich die Seite auf eine Seite weiter, die immerwieder vom Firefox-AddOn Ghostery geblockt wird. Ich hoffe daher und wegen anderen Gründen, dass ich mein Konto bei PayPal bald wieder kündigen kann, sofern mein einziger dortiger Zahlungsvorgang irgendwann wirklich als abgeschlossen eingeschätzt wird und ich somit endlich die Möglichkeit habe, mein PayPal-Konto wieder löschen zu lassen, da meine Kontodaten dort wahrscheinlich nicht sicher sind. Falls ihr euch fragt, warum ich mich dann überhaupt angemeldet habe, die Seite, wegen der ich PayPal überhaupt erst genutzt hat scheinbar keine alternative Zahlungsmöglichkeit angeboten. Die Gastkonto-Funktion, von der im Internet berichtet wurde, wurde scheinbar deaktiviert. Daher habe ich dieser Seite in allen Punkten 0% gegeben.

They do not let you use a password with spaces. This restriction forces you to use less memorable passwords and makes it more likely that I would forget my paypal password. Paypal has ignored my customer service request discussing this. Also, I'm worried that based on a recent story (http://yro.slashdot.org/story/13/05/28/142204/paypal-denies-teen-reward-for-finding-bug) and the fact that they've started using binding arbitration (http://consumerist.com/2012/10/09/paypal-slips-forced-arbitration-clause-into-user-agreement-gives-you-until-dec-1-to-opt-out/) I can't see myself trusting them any time soon.
