Le site pcworld.com est-il sûr ?

I am literally on a page about how to stop autoplay videos where the author "Sympathises" with the annoyance.. BUT THE SITE HAS AUTOPLAYING VIDEOS... Even with adblock on it automatically plays but with adblock its made worse since you can not actually pause the video. Talk about irony. If you can deal with annoying videos you don't give a shit about enjoy using this site but for the 99% of us that can't stand it, stay clear from PC world.

Video content plays without my permission. If someone has their volume turned up (because the last video had poor audio quality), the sudden loud noise could cause injury. Many people have complained about this, but apparently pcworld does not care. It's all about revenue. WOT calls this type of advertisement as "Questionable" rather than "Negative". It needs to be put in a category all in it's own. This is like the web sites who used to open your cd bays when you went to their site. If a person has a bad speaker attached to their computer and leaves the house, this could cause a fire and burn their house down. Unlikely- sure, but wait till it finally happens. Then you will hear about it!

I really like Pcworld- except for the insane number of trackers to block. That earned it a downgrade. The other thing is forget about their buggy galleries. They are just there to inflate page clicks. They barely work with trackers enabled- and without them forget even trying.
