Le site playdom.com est-il sûr ?

The games are set up specially to scam you out of money. I am okay with paying some money, But if you play to compete with other, the money should be used to make sure there is some security in their gaming. If I invest $50 into the game, I expect that it should not be so easy for 10,000 hackers to not make me feel like I just wasted $50. Playdom does little to nothing about banning hackers. The games are constantly glitching, or crashing. I will stick with buying a game for $50 from a legit company.

Kids signed up after I checked the site. As soon as they signed up we got overrun with spam. Both my wife and I have time after time un-subscribed to spam but they keep coming under "new" names and games. Next spam will be reported to our local govt anti spam unit. :(

Playdom focuses mainly on how it can benefit monetarily from it's players through premium (cost) membership advancements, while dismissing fixing site bugs, account bugs, and hacking problems, vulgar language banning, eliminating harassment, and most of all, protection of children form such things already listed. They have absolutely no moderating unless players beg several times and then demand an investigation. Their T.O.S. and Privacy Statement claim concern, but in reality, it's not followed by them. Playdom does not protect it's members from any of what is listed above, but just sends out generic letters saying they are going to look into it and the results will be confidential. It's "confidential" because the real deal is the concern is dismissed and never addressed. I strongly advise parents to steer their children clear from this site and it's apps on any other website.

I authorized the Garden's of Time game app in Facebook because my friends were playing and I had received a request from one of them. Without even being aware, when I authorized the app I also authorized they could send me emails, which I am never okay with. In order to play the game, you are required to authorize email notifications. Meaning, anytime they want to send you a email, they can. They don't allow you an account on their site, but they have your email address. You can unsubscribe from their email list, but they will still keep sending you emails. I blocked the app from my Facebook account and I am STILL getting emails from them. From now on, I will be on the watch for anything with Playdom's name on it and will avoid at all costs. They are now in my blocked sender's list.

Added one of their games to my facebook profile WITHOUT MY CONSENT. Hell, the thing still says allow this game, and yet I have their game bookmarked when I haven't even played it. I wonder what other information they took when they added the bookmark.
