Le site playster.com est-il sûr ?

The company is a legitimate business. They sell subscriptions that allow you access to a large library of books in a way that is similar to many music subscription services. I did not sign up only because the price was too high for the amount I will use it. For that reason though, I cannot comment on quality of service

Bait and switch. Offers books for sale all over the Internet, but they don't have it. If authors like me see their book used like this and complain, the spiel is to say that they have a different firm on a market campaign, and that firm is to be blamed, not Playster, which, by the way, is hosted by Amazon. New websites offering books for free are created daily, so this bait and switch biz must be working very well for them.

My experience using Playster was with the month-long free trial. I liked the idea of the service, but at the end of the day, they didn’t have enough movies I wanted to watch to make me stay on as a long term customer. When I was trying to cancel my account I ran into a browser issue and ended up calling customer service. The customer service representative I spoke to was extremely helpful and the (embarrassingly simple) problem was solved quickly, and I was able to cancel. I plan to check back on Playster at a later time to see what’s new.

I haven’t had any problems using Playster. They have a lot of steps to go through when signing up, so make sure you read them all carefully, but other than that, you get what you pay for. I’m subscribed to their books / audiobooks collection and it’s a very good selection of stuff. The audiobooks section lets you listen to as many audiobooks as you want, which, as far as I know, is unique for a site of this kind: most make you use credits so you can only listen to a set amount per month before you have to pay more. I’m still subscribed, and other than occasionally running slowly, Playster hasn’t given me anything to complain about. Oh, you can’t listen to audiobooks through the app: that kind of sucks.

This is a good e-books service, and they've improved leaps and bounds since I first signed up a few months ago. Their new app is a HUGE improvement over the old one (which people really hated), but it doesn't have audiobooks functionality yet. Once they add this the service will be a serious contender with similar websites, perhaps the most worthwhile e-books site, tbh.
