2025 - This is a very bad VPN. High ping. Connection drops. Doesn't always connect. Not all servers work. Support can't help. They refuse to return money. And in Google Play this junk has a rating of 3 stars. In vain I didn't look at the reviews before I gave them my money. Avoid these scammers.

2023, 3 Stars: Still using the service but Beware if you purchased this via Stack Social or another bargain site they do NOT honor lifetime subscriptions. After a few years they discontinued it so it was a breach of their contract. After arguing with customer service was able to get 3 years grace period but after that they will be canceling. Do a search on google to find more about this breach. Regarding security, it works well and does its job. Regarding privacy, I would give it 2 stars due to the F B I concerns others mentioned here. They have tried to fix the issue but still same management from the past so I would not put it past them to do it again. I would only use this with that in mind to do anon searches & other things that dont include tornt activities. 2020, 5 Stars: Been using for 5 yrs w/ no technical issues. I would recommend it if you enjoy privacy online and have intermediate experience w/ a computer. It does have a slight learning curve but is very customizable. Stacksocial sells a lifetime subscription, so I would avoid monthly/annual fees & look it up as that is what made me sign up. Otherwise there are other vpn providers out there with more privacy options but this one is good for general use. Hulu & Netflix server access is included too.

Most of the bad experiences appear to be pre-2015, before I became a user. I looked at many VPN offers, did a number of tests on all of them for security and bandwidth, and looked at reviews. I have no reason to doubt the security, and got good responses when I had some difficulties. I normally use a VPN as an added security measure and to protect my privacy, so choose the Australian sites, where I am resident. My only problem is that these sites sometimes get pretty loaded, and then I start to see slowdowns followed by dropouts: I intend to contact them about it.

I decided to cancel the annual membership on this site during the free trial period, got an email saying that the membership was cancelled and I will receive a full refund. When I contacted the company, 30+ days later, their representative kept saying that I was already refunded, although I was looking at my credit card bill and there was no refund, just a charge. He kept repeating himself saying I was already refunded over and over, and I insisted that I did not get the refund. After about 20 minutes of chatting with him, he suddenly said there has been some offer in the cancellation email I received, and NOW after I've said that I wish to reject their offer, they will refund me.

En mi experiencia, es un excelente programa, rápido y seguro. La velocidad de navegación depende, por supuesto, del servidor, pero por lo general es muy rápida. PureVPN es el que más me ha conformado en cuanto a velocidad (por lo general utilizo el modo Secutity/Privacy). Las muy buenas ofertas de comprar la licencia por varios años, son para no dejarlas pasar. El único problema que tuve hace muy poco tiempo, fue por una desconfiguración de mi equipo, el cuál resolví desinstalando completamente (con Revo Uninstaller Pro), el PureVPN y, --esto es importante--, el WAN en el adaptador de red.
