SCAM SAYS FREE THEY GET YOUR INFO AND ITS NOT FREE
Utile
Scammers! They make it seem like you're getting a free service but then they hit your credit card over and over and over. You have to get your CC company to stop it.

With respect to those commenting about it not being a legal firm, it is actually stated in the footer of their pages in fine print (as usual), so be aware of that: "Copyright 2016 Rocket Lawyer Incorporated. Rocket Lawyer provides information and software only. Rocket Lawyer is not a "lawyer referral service" and does not provide legal advice or participate in any legal representation. Rocket Lawyer is not a law firm or a substitute for an attorney or law firm. Use of Rocket Lawyer is subject to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy." Yes, they will tell you it is free to create and work on your document, but as with many things, "free" isn't always completely free or free for forever, even if it sometimes lasts a long time. For those stating that you have to enter a credit card number, as of 2016-12-02, that's not the case if you just ignore that page once you get to it. TIP: * Enter your e-mail address and a password to create an account. (If you think you'll be spammed, use a throwaway address, but they'll send you an e-mail with a link to login to retrieve your document and you'll need to be able to use it to log back in later.) * Answer [No Thanks] to the "Document Defense" question (though I don't know that it does much different either way.) * Do not pick a plan and DO NOT ENTER YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION. Ignore the form. Instead, you'll receive an e-mail with a link to your document (it came rather quickly for me). If you don't, just go back to the site and click the "Sign in" button [https://www.rocketlawyer.com/login-register.rl#/login] in the upper right corner of the https://www.rocketlawyer.com/ site. Partial log as recorded on the document's page: ... 07:20 PM Document was finished by . ... (The times appear to be one timezone east of U.S. EST, or maybe they're still on Eastern Daylight Time in December? I started at 4:41 PM CST, 5:41 PM EST, which would be 6:41 EDT. This is strange based on the addresses on their "Contact Us" https://www.rocketlawyer.com/contact-us.rl page.) I received the following e-mail with the timestamp "5:19 PM CST" my time - one minute before that of "07:20 PM Document was finished by ." in the log. I have access to my single document (we'll see how long that lasts... 7 days?) and have not entered any credit card sincethe creation date and my account settings [https://www.rocketlawyer.com/app.rl/account-settings] page currently states the following: ========== Membership #: {Removed} Your Plan: Free Membership [Upgrade] Your account includes: * Document Access Print, sign, and download your document, forever. Upgrade for access to: * Legal Advice Quick answers on legal questions from experienced attorneys. * Unlimited Documents Create business and personal legal docs anytime, anywhere. * Document Reviews Have an attorney review your doc to ensure it's right for you. * Discounted rates 40% off On Call attorney fees. ========== We'll see how long "Print, sign, and download your document, forever." lasts.

The document is not free for download as they say.

RocketLawyer: - Fails to disclose 1-week trial to create document requires credit card - Classic bait and switch - offer free document actually isn't free - Does not offer an easy unsubscribe or delete account option - No upfront privacy information disclosure - Difficult to contact to remove account

This company is perfect for a start up business. As long your needs are simple use them! However, any type of complicated legal transaction is best left to a lawyer you can meet in person.  The site is perfectly safe. I don't understand why it is not green.

Claiming to be a legal website offering legal documentation for free. Actually costs money and is in no way affiliated with any law firm.
1
Doesn't tell you about a sign up with credit card until the end of the entire series of questions.

***** claims that you can get one document for free, but a credit card is required, and you must sign up for a 1 week trial. the one week trial only gives you access to ONE document. They are pretty much collecting Credit card numbers

The form is really good except they ask you for a credit card at the end of the filling process.

Site lets you think you can create a free legal document. After spending 45 minutes answering questions they then asked for a credit card and offerd a free one week trial in order to download your document. After that week they start to bill your card. What a scam. Avoid this website!

Ok site. Informative content.

Will let you go through the process of creating a document and than asking for a $50 credit card payment at the end.

Be very careful with these scammers, they'll keep billing you long after you use their services.

This site says it will create a lease agreement free but won't let you actually have it unless you pay at least $60. Stay away. They also stated they are sending your lease to your e-mail, want your e-mail first, and they once they have it they want your money after. Now I'm on a spam list.

The web sites portrays them as a lawyer firm but when you call them they have a recording telling you they are not a lawyer firm they can just assist you w/questions and help you w/attorneys for $400 a month
1
Be careful this is pure scam, they will tell you it is Free from the beginning and make you work on your document, but to access the doc you will have to enter your credit card details and pay after 1 week. You will then have to downgrade your membership plan and email them to remove your credit card details. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!
