As an IT professional for over a decade, I stand by Spotmau, and I have for years. This is NOT a scam, and it is NOT malicious. Anyone who claims that it is simply does not understand the software or the tools contained within and how to use them properly.
There are some truly ridiculous claims made by the people that are rating Spotmau bad. I've seen everything from 'unsafe for kids' to 'hate and discrimination'. Obviously these people are trolls and are abusing WoT. That is unfortunate.

I've been using Spotmau software for five years in my IT business. I find their software solid and their support superior. The rating is obviously undeserved and likely just an attack by someone.

I was astonished to see the red warnings for this site. It really raises a yellow flag for the entire WOT process to me, a field IT technician who has begun to recommend it to my customers.
Spotmau has several of the leading data recovery software tools used by professionals, including myself. I can only assume the one-star ratings were completed by competitors and should be disregarded.

I have used this SW since 2008 and find their support to be well above average. DO NOT be afraid to use them as I just updated to their 2011 version and it all works very well.
