This software isn't really harmful, it actually detects adware sometimes, but is the adware itself. Scanned by Virustotal, no viruses, but is a scam and is fake. Again, not harmful. I recommend children do not go here, because they could just download it like a fool. So be careful.

I have a lifetime membership with STOPzilla for two computers and unlimited number of peripherals. Their product has helped me ALOT. Their customer service speaks English and is most professional. I have worked with one of their technicians, Juan, twice... and that has always been a most excellent experience. Their product works with my Bitdefender virus protection without a hitch. Their malware protection catches stuff that Bitdefender doesn't catch. When their system quarantines malware or cookies my system gets faster and back to proper operation. I TRUST this product... and the price is good Even Now (05-23-15).

i have been using stopzilla for years and their website so both are great. if youre downloading from a nonstopz site then u might be flooded with malware. this is a very professional company. stopz has been the best in virus catching and removal so i bought a lifetime license.

This is an anti-virus/anti-malware company. This is a professional company and is suitable for kids, if they can purchase online. I have been using Stopzilla for years. I have three lifetime licenses with them and this software has never failed to find a virus, Trojan horse, spamware, or worm. The only thing I didn't use them for, was Level III technical service. I have a local guy, who charged half as much. I've read the comments by people using Microsoft's supposedly anti-virus software. Neither their Security Essentials or Defender are any good at all. Get rid of them, or in the case of Defender, deactivate it. The only reason Microsoft employees are dogging Stopzilla, is because they don't want anyone using a competitor. From using all the freeware in the past, I can be assured none of them do any better, than Stopzilla Free. Also, a Microsoft moderator stated Stopzilla wasn't an anti-virus software and couldn't be more incorrect. Two of the best Paid versions of anti-virus and anti-malware companies are Trend Micro and Stopzilla. DON'T BE FOOLED BY IGNORANCE. Confirm the studies and use someone, like CNET, to give you professional advice.

I have been using STOPzilla for years and have never had a problem. It stays up to date on the viruses and everything else out there that could harm my computer. There were a few trojans that tried to get into my computer that STOPzilla isolated and quarantined until I removed it. I trust my computer with it totally!

I have used Stopzilla for few years without all the negative experiences that have been stated. Like any other business, they have grown and improved to where they do have a good effective product. I purchased a Lifetime License in 2008 and it has paid for itself many times over. With the release of Stopzilla AVM2013, it is a huge improvement and I have run comparisons against other Antivirus and Spyware programs. I found AVM2013 extremely effective and no false reporting. AVM2013 has been the most effective software stopping attacks. I run other virus and spyware programs occasionally to verify AVM2013 is being effective. I am not bugged with promo advertising and if I was, I would block it. I would agree that would be a nuisance. I have had good results with technical support on various issues.

Most of the reviews on this site/software are extremely out of date. Stopzilla is an anti-virus software program and not a malware, virus or spyware. Like Norton, Kaspersky and a few other antivirus suites, virus developers have named their malicious programs after Stopzilla in order to fool people familiar with the brand into believing the virus is the legitimate anti-virus software suite. Stopzilla has a near perfect record of antivirus and antimalware protection. I encourage everyone to try it out for themselves. I have several copies and run Stopzilla on every PC i own.
