Survey Sampling International and all of their (many) survey sites are scams. Most surveys are broken. They will eventually ban your account, and refuse to pay you what you earned. They use these survey sites just to get the personal information of users before they ban you. It previously was legitimate, but not anymore.

They spam call you even if you are on the no call list. They use local numbers and don't pick up when you say hello. The questions they ask are bizarre and I suspect they sell your information. And I also suspect they are run by some far left group because they use kids to telemarket who have no idea what they are doing.

SSI owns Opinion Outpost which is purely a scam; they gather surveys and con users into filling them out, then when a user tries to cash out a reward their account is immediately terminated. The parent company no doubt makes a lot of money from the time and effort of every person they sucker in, but will never pay out what those users are owed.
