Doesn't get any worse than this. Stay away!
Moderator is deleting relevant comments and approves comments which are abusive to nations , ethnic groups and so on , which violates their own policies and Google policies. Example .. top ten the most hatred countries in the world , or top ten stupidest countries in the world.. how can you tell if someone or some country is hatred or stupid… people votes.. come on ?.. THIS PAGE IS HIGHLY MANIPULATED AND IS VIOLATING INDIVIDUALS AND ETHNIC GROUPS

The site has a Privacy Policy and they admit to planting cookies on your computer; all well and good. But, in explaining the use of cookies the Privacy Policy says, "Personal information cannot be collected via cookies and other tracking technology. Cookie and tracking information will not be shared with third parties."
Now, first of all, personal information CAN be collected via cookies, so either they are lying or very very ignorant. Second, if as they say personal information can not be collected via "other tracking technology" then why does the very next sentence state that "tracking information will not be shared with third parties"? It is sketchy at best, misleading and deceptive at worst. The site is still entertaining to look around, but use caution if they ask for more personal information.

This review is based on a specific statement misinterpreted and taken out of context. Reading the entire privacy policy makes it clear that the statement "personal information cannot be collected via cookies" refers to the fact that, by itself, a cookie cannot be used to gather personal information and simply visiting a website that uses cookies does not pose a risk. Instead, cookies can be used to store personal information that has been willingly provided by the visitor.
This was deemed a necessary addition to the privacy policy as many users do not have an accurate understanding of how cookies work and may be under the impression that cookies can be used to gather personal information about them without their consent. There was no intent to deceive or mislead, and the statement was not born in ignorance.
For further clarification, the statement has now been amended to read "personal information cannot be gathered via cookies".
The site is a real time waster. Having said that, I enjoyed roaming around the site and checking out the "results" of the Top Ten polls. The site is easy to navigate and none of the 50+ antimalware engines found anything to worry about. I did find it curious that some of the Top Ten picks did not have any comments to go with them. If you have time on your hands and are easily entertained, as I am, then you just might enjoy thetoptens.com.
