Le site tweaktown.com est-il sûr ?

This site is so greedy it won't even let you read anything with an adblocker on and there is no way to remove the pop up. Any other site would at least let you close the box but this site just wants you to turn it off or give you 35 cents for one week.

I'm okay with forcing ads if it's a trusted site, though asking nicely makes me more likely to comply. I'm not okay with getting a 5 second preview of the forum post I want to read, then it redirects me to a "turn your JavaScript back on page" when it was a fully functioning page to begin with, didn't need javascript. Either don't show the page initially so I can stop right there and try another site or let it be viewed and state java needs to be turned on like all the other sites. ______ If you got this far in my advice and still want to read a post or are the site and want to fix a bug; to view the page without it redirecting do the following: go to webpage, select all (ctrl-a), then switch to a small window and put that infront of the webpage so that the website in the tab is inactive, you can still scroll down the page and read it as long as a different window is active infront.

TweakTown: Tech content trusted by users in North America and around the world.  At least that is what it claims.  I like most tech review sites, no questions.  The only thing about this site is that if you use AdBlocker, it has this huge red ribbon at the top of the site.  Huge red annoying bar notify you to disable the ads.  I find that annoying.  Leave user preference alone.
