Any site with over 3,000 members will have a few cliques, so it's too bad one user could not find a clique for him/herself. There will also be a bad apple or two in a crowd of that size. I'm not sure how one user's experience with a couple bad apples can "blacklist" a site on here. Anyway, the club has some of the country's leading experts in the hobby who have published in peer-reviewed journals, and there are friendly, helpful people from all over the state and some neighboring states. If someone can't find a friend or two or any good information in a site like this, I have to question the poster's motives instead.

I disagree with the Yandex Safe Browsing malware detection. Three prominent scanners found no malware. However, this web site has security issues and requests personal and financial data over an unsecured connection. I do not think the web site owner is malicious, just sloppy. At this time, I recommend you do not provide any personal or financial data.

REEF-ON, that herp derp who left a negative rating and bad review is obviously a homosexual recovering from pink sock, with a side of hemorrhoids. UT Reefs is a highly respectable website with many great and knowledgeable members. The disgruntled anus licker who left the negative review for no reason was a troll who didn't get along with anybody. None of the male members would accept his constant, harassing and creepy requests for dates, someone even saw him peeping. Please disregard his rating and comments.

This site has been an invaluable research tool and an immense wealth of knowledge when it comes to setting up a saltwater aquarium. The members have been nothing but helpful and friendly, and are always willing to give advice to newcomers, to help solve any issue or question that arises. Love this site and I don't know what I would do without it.

The site is an invaluable wealth of information, answers to questions and open communication with other reef keepers in the Utah area, I've had great experience there over the years (8 to be exact), communication is kept clean and family friendly, users are respectful and open collaboration is encouraged. Look forward to the next 8 years!

This site is extremely informative and helpful. The people on this constantly help out strangers that are new to the reefing community. All of them do this on their own time to help the hobby and not themselves. I don't know what the below review was talking about popularity because when I was new to the site and only had just started people went out of their way to help me even though I literally knew not a single person on the site and only had posted a few times. Clicky? I don't see how it's clicky when again I a new person who knew NO ONE was helped when I first joined the site. I've never had anyone lie or even heard of anyone lieing about another person. Someone obviously has an axe to grind. Too bad they couldn't be an adult and talk to the person they have an issue with and instread tried to smear an educational site full of helpful people. Did I mention they also do monthly meetings and bring in speakers from all around the globe to talk to the members of the board? And that it is free?! Crazy person below is crazy.
