It is obvious that user, lZlZlZl, only signed up with WOT to defend his predatory website, vlcapp.com. The malware contained in the "vlc" download from this site is extremely difficult/near impossible to remove, and it adds no value (do research into weatherbug and funmoods for proof), and it takes of the downloaders time and money since the ways to remove the malware pretty much all cost money. Hmmm, wonder if vlcapp.com and the malware removal people are in it together? Most likely! Always use the official page (videolan.org). WOT has always steered me clear of scam sites. It was through this scam website that I realized that I had forgotten to reinstall WOT for chrome. My mistake--well learned. Thanks, WOT

This media player is free. The bad ratings are due to people NOT READING the information during installation, and not declining the offers to install additional software. WOT should ask more questions before allowing these idiots to give a poor rating to a good site that provides good software to people that read before clicking on the next button.
