Le site youtube.com est-il sûr ?

It's Youtube. There are some good videos on there. I can admit that. But, there's also hate speech and discrimination that end up in the comments of a lot of videos. And about the only way to not see it is to change your browser's settings to block them. There's tons of ads that interrupt most videos. There is online tracking but hey, it's owned by Google. So, they're gonna track you to see what you watch so they can recommend stuff. What can happen to the info they collect is anyone's guess. As with a lot of places, there are a lot of opinions posted, people go on religious rants, and people go on rants demeaning the political party that opposes the one they belong to. Now, let's be honest. Are there some videos on youtube that are suitable for kids? Yes. If I had a 6 year old child, would I let my child browse youtube at their leisure? No. There's far too many videos on youtube unsuitable for a 6 year old to allow me to do that. Would I, myself, search youtube for a video that's suitable for my 6 year old? Yes. That being said, I'd make sure that I had tons of ad blocker programs installed before I would show the video to my child. I'd be too afraid that some ad for tampons would interrupt the video to not have ad blocker installed. All I'm saying is, be cautious. Be a parent. No one with an IQ of more than 2 is going to say you're doing a bad thing.
