I spend my life on this site, no problems. The only thing you should watch out for is what your kids are watching (if you have any), because YouTube doesn't have a rating system as of yet. So no TV-PG or TV-R just YouTube.

i never have any problem with this web. it just good fun. there is video out there that bad for kids. i found that in full screen mode. kids can easy get in to xxx video. i just dont know why they have video like that.

Einerseits hat die Webseite eine riesige Auswahl an Videos, Filmen, Serien, Musik, Clips u.a. (auch legaler Natur), sowie der Möglichkeit, eigene Videos zu veröffentlichen.
Daher eine gute Möglichkeit für Künstler (u.a.) ihre Videos und Werke zu veröffentlichen und zu verbreiten.
Andererseits hat YouTube eine große Masse an Videos die gegen bestehende Urheberrechte verstoßen und / oder zu unseriösen Seiten führen (Links in den Videos oder deren Beschreibung).
Weiterhin sind die Inhalte einiger von User veröffentlichen Videos mit fragwürdigem oder beleidigendem Inhalt.
Zudem ist die Kommentar-Kultur von YouTube häufig von beleidigender und / oder sinnfreier Natur.
Anmerkung zur Jugendgefährdung:
YouTube besitzt durch einige fragwürdige und gewalttätige Video-Inhalte eine gewisse Jugendgefährdung. Kinder sollten YouTube nicht ohne Aufsicht nutzen, da ansonsten fast jeder Inhalt gesehen werden kann und dies negative Folgen für das Kind haben kann.
