123greetings.comは安全ですか？

I sent a greeting card on this site and was left with web-push notifications that when I select to opt out of I am routed to a number of you tube sites to find a way to opt out. The information to opt out is not readily available. While I liked the cards, the person I sent it to has also had their email impacted by third party marketing web-push notifications.

I like the site, the cards are great, but earlier reviewers are almost correct when they say that this site sends out spam : I have all their stuff shunted into a special area in Gmail so I can keep an eye on how much they send, and it's one every couple of days. So, I mark it down for over-enthusiastic marketing. It's not quite spam, but close enough. [Edit] July 2017 - a spam message caught by GMail apparently from 123Greetings (123g.biz), had my email address only. "Take a Survey, win a £1000 Gift Card from Primark" - usually a sign of a Survey Scam. Not sure if this counts as Scam or Phishing or even if it really did come from 123Greetings.

This site will take your email information without your permission and send it to advertising firms. It is a total spam. It also asks a lot of information and it can make a personality profile of you, and then distribute that to others without your permission as well. I totally agree with wotfoot in that the site should NO WAY be a green icon; the vast majority of the ratings being red. Don't give ANY information on this site. They are not going to be respectful of you.

No information on how to be removed from their spam list, nobody sends these stupid card things anymore (went out in the 90s), using another service to hide the true link. There are so many things about this email that scream security/privacy issue.
