I have come across very few businesses that change their contract that both you and the business sign in good faith in order to extort more money from you. I have a 24HourFitness membership. I bought it in California and a year later moved to New York. My contract, their sales rep, and the company's own website and plan pitch all say it was valid in New York - until I got to New York. Although I paid for nationwide access, 24HourFitness changed my contract and forced me to pay for two different plans even though I'm just one person. What's worse is that I though I was the only one who was being tortured by the crooks. It turns out there are hundreds of others who moved from the West Coast to the East Coast and who getting ripped off by 24HourFitness every month.
