First they told me over the phone that if I could get a letter from my vet stating that I rescued this cat that my pet registration change fee would be waived. I get the paperwork to fill out and find out that the amount that was stated that would be waived is only for a year and that for a lifetime change the amount would be much more and that the fee to change ownership of the cat into my name would not under any circumstances be waived. ***This is BAIT AND SWITCH at it's finest.*** In addition to which, the previous owner was in deed informed that I have the cat and what horrible condition he was in when he came to me. He's missing two of his paws and even though I can't afford it I've seen to it that he is getting proper and extremely expensive medical care and am giving him a much more caring home. His previous owner obviously didn't care enough about him to keep him safe from the problems he wound up in and hasn't bothered to call me. I guess she didn't bother to call 24PetWatch, either, to get my contact info.
