I have not dealt with them personally but friends that have were not satisfied. Whether that disqualifies my review is up to the viewer of this page. I wanted to pick something up but B&H was closed on Saturdays. I was talked out of going and ended up at Adorama (also good) the next day. I since looked up reviews and yelp does not look at them highly. If you look at the hidden reviews - it is highly negative. Don't mistake this place for the old 47th Street photo which did a huge volume and had good prices. *****

I've been here (in-store) several times. Maybe the website is just a whole different (read: positive) consumer experience, but I can't say as much for the store. Each time the prices quoted at the counter magically go up at the register with no--or only ridiculously confusing--explanations offered. I have never *not* gotten a sketchy feeling from the place, and never *not* felt ripped off/taken advantage of. Unfortunately, every other photo place in the city is Hassidic-owned, so on Jewish holidays (basically every other weekend), this is one of the only places near Midtown Manhattan that remains open.
