The official website for the well-known adult counterpart to children's cartoons, Adult Swim is a great site to catch all your favorite AS series and to check on showings for each one. There are even adult-themed games for those seeking some comic relief in game form. Obviously not suitable for young children, Adult Swim is probably fine for anyone 16+. If you are easily offended, however, you may proceed with caution, since some controversial and sensitive topics are mocked or parodied in the Adult Swim shows.

Is foul language really ”adult language”? Does profanity demonstrate responsiblity, wisdom, intelligence, and other mature qualities? Of course not. It is just the opposite. When do most people learn to sprinkle their conversation with words that refer to feces, crude sexual intercourse, urination, and the disrespectful use of theological terms? Is it when they are adults? No. It is when they are adolescents or pre-adolescents. Go to any middle school playground and you will discover the truth. Profanity is adolescent language. It is immature. So why do we call foul language “mature language”? Because we have been brainwashed by a myth. Would you like to hear some real “mature language”? Okay. Here goes: honor, duty, sacrifice, commitment, responsibility, character, honesty, morality, service, reverence, respect, faithfulness, parenthood, kindness. Anybody can speak and act out that adolescent stuff. But it takes a strong and mature individual to speak and live true “mature language”. *****

It's a good site, but a little risque. Lots of adult content, but nothing too hardcore. Watch episodes,trailers, play games, chat on the forum. It's all in good fun. If you have a good set of morals, and kids, you may want to supervise their usage on the site and judge for yourself. Enjoy! :)
