At this point, the user is prompted to provide personal information in order to "activate" the program. Thus, the scan itself is used as a phishing tool (by collecting this activation data) and as a malware program (as it slows down your computer and more or less forces you to "activate" it. Classic fake A/V trick used against unsuspecting web surfers.

Funny, it says US... But obviously the website text is written by someone with a poor command of English. One good indication of "Don't trust us"! I always say trust your gut instinct. I know I'm probably 95% good when I get a bad feeling. And fortunately, it seems to be a "false negative" when I'm wrong...As they say err on the side of caution!!!
