There has been many a time where this site literally saved me money, time, and let me keep my peace of mind. There have been times also, when I found this site to be less than helpful. Use common sense and plenty of logic, and this site can be a real help!

Official Yahoo site for asking answering questions around the world. A myriad of topics are covered, so be wary.

The main problem I have noticed is that in the political and religious based questions, the answer that gets voted the best answer is usually the answer that the asker wanted to hear, rather than the most correct answer.

Expect a good portion of the answers to be spambots advertising things completely unrelated to the question itself.

Hit or miss. Can be really useful if you get someone good to answer your question, but lots of answers are really junk.

Just ask any question and your guaranteed to get an answer. Just use caution when using this site though because anybody can post anything. Someone even asked for my credit card info and said he would buy something for me! Sure he would.

Yahoo Answer is place where you can ask question and let other user answer it. It is interesting concepts but reliable? Who Knows

and Useful, Informative (depends where you look)
I find this place to be kind of a bit of everything, the only thing that bothers me is when I have a relitivly deep question or a pretty good political one, it will either be deleted (after reporting from some one who strongly disagree's) or my in depth tech question will not be answered or wrong answer provided.
I personally do my best to give accurate answers and if I dont know I keep a lid on it and perhaps learn something from the other users.
Overall 9 out of 10 for Child safety concerns.

An extremely informative site with millions of users around the world contributing to it. However, the contents may not be suitable for minors due to the possibility of explicit questions and response.
