Hello!, Members of our Facebook Community sometimes bring it to our attention that our shortened links are rated poorly by WoT. We'd like to address this issue here in the comments of our link shortner's WoT Scorecard. Our link shortner (avgclick.me) is run through bitly, which when used as intended is perfectly safe, just like our links. However, some people use their bitly accounts to share dangerous links and hide the fact that they point to a dangerous (or unexpected) website by shortening the link. So, they earn the whole site a bad rating as a result. Some links that come from bitly can be dangerous, but rest assured that ours are not. :)
