I know I'll be hated for this, but I am a wife, mother, and grandmother. I also am a brain scientist. Please understand - this site is not in any way dangerous to children. We are gaining more and better understandings of the causes of sexual orientation and it appears to be hard-wired on the brain during the second trimester of pregnancy. Pedopilia is a sexual orientation. Child rape and molestation are evil, selfish, despicable acts that hurt children. I do believe I could literally kill a person who was engaged in such an act. BUT - the orientation is just that - an orientation. My own sweet husband is, like me, heterosexual and attracted to age-peers of the opposite sex. We have been happily married for many years. He has NEVER raped a woman - although I don't doubt when he was a young man, there were women he would have liked to have hopped into bed with! Being heterosexual does not mean he is a rapist. That is what these people are trying to do - distinguish Pedophilia, which is a sexual orientation, from a despicable criminal act. I have NO personal gain from anything to do with this site or the topic - but I DO have extensive education on the functioning of the brain. If we vilify this orientation, we cause Pedophiles to avoid treatment and help in managing those feelings. It is something they must live with for life. What a terrible burden! But many, many DO. They have their feelings but do NOT act on them. We need to help those who have a strong conscience to never, ever harm a child. THAT is how we make our world better. And please understand - these people DO want child molesters to pay for their crimes! Please do not misunderstand. Keeping those molesters from paying for their crimes is not at all the goal here. They want to educate the public and encourage pedophiles to get help managing their feelings and urges. It is a very hard thing to live with, no doubt. Be grateful that YOU are not a Pedophile. You could have been - it is something those people are born with. I read all the other comments, and it appears to me that people are giving a knee-jerk reaction to the subject of child molestation. Perhaps they read a news article or blog about how evil this organization is. I have seen one such article - it was rife with falsehoods and assumptions. And it was written by a doctor who is not respected at ALL in the psychiatric, psychological, medical, or scientific communities. Dr. Keith Ablow is a psychiatrist on Fox News and is a conservative Christian. When it comes to sexual orientation, he is completely ignorant. Please read the TOS before posting - this rating is not for political or personal views about something like this. The SITE is credible. And it has some important information. Remember - this is a sexual orientation and sexual orientations can NOT be changed. You do NOT want to drive pedophiles underground! Please be a compassionate person and consider what YOUR life would be like if you were sexually attracted to children. And use WOT as you are supposed to. Please.

B4U-ACT is an organization created by pedophiles and their clinicians/psychologists for the express purpose of de-criminalizing pedophilia and removing pedophilia from the DSM V. They want it DE-classified as a psychological disorder and treated with the same "acceptance" and "legitimacy" as homosexuality. They believe it is intolerant and ignorant to believe that a "minor attracted person" (as they would rather be called since "pedophile" is "hateful") could be "cured" of their "natural" and possibly even genetic predisposition to minor attraction. Do these arguments sound familiar? They should. They are simply cut/paste from the homosexual activists playbook. After all, it's worked pretty well for them..... This is a sick sick site/group. No one should view it. It will take a lot of prayer to undo the damage even learning about it has done to my soul >:(

Guess this one gets a low child safety kind of by default then! However both of the other comments aren't completely accurate. I think the site is trying to have pedophilia firmly classified as a psychological disorder, and in turn educate clinicians about treatments. Still seems kind of ooky but to characterize the site as promoting child-raping seems overzealous.
