If it just asks for your name (you can enter anything) and gender/age/... (you can pick/enter anything here as well) then it's not a big deal. If it asks you to approve access to your Facebook account (usually starts with a button that has something like [Click here to know who] on it) then be suspicious of it - it's probably going to ask for one or more of the following and possibly other personal information: * your public profile * friend list * email address * Timeline posts Are you really willing to give up any/all of that information to possibly subject yourself and your friends to spam, phishing attacks, etc., or not? Will your friends be happy you gave up their information too? Think before you click!
