This website gives information on how to become a background actor in Los Angeles or New York. It announces the scheduled trainings conducted by its Academy, but the website does not give its background actors any jobs to search for. Job announcements are done through Facebook (not all of them) or through its telephone job lines. Background actors do not have access to their profiles, therefore, cannot do any updates online. Registration is free and is done on-site and good for three years. BGs do not have to wait for three years to upgrade their profile, but they have to show up in person for new picture taken. Professional headshots are accepted, but it costs $10 per picture to be included in a BG's file. Central Casting's payroll company, Entertainment Partners, is the fastest paying payroll company that I have encountered so far. I love Central Casting of Los Angeles and I enjoy my work as a background actor.
