The Chalcedon Foundation is an anti-gay hate group espousing a radical form of Christianity created by its founder, R.J. Rushdoony. Their website refers to gay people as "sodomites", accuses gay men of being pedophilic sexual predators, and compares homosexuality to bestiality. Rushdoony also accuses gay people of "attempting to remake man in Satan’s projected image". Because of their extreme homophobia, the Chalcedon Foundation is listed as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center. However, Chalcedon has not limited themselves to only one area of bigotry -- they also hate feminism. They allege that Satan is "seduce[ing] women away from their God-appointed functions to arenas of life that distract them from their created design" (i.e. childbirth), and one female author for the site simply states: "Ladies, we need to stop the mantra that we are just as good as men."
