ChatID is a platform agnostic chat and communication client that business can use to talk with their customers. The idea is to support a familiar chat capability regardless if you are on your desktop, laptop, tablet or phone. ChatID also allows for videos and marketing of products from the site you are visiting. (Newegg is a customer and they have lots of product videos.) It appears the goal is to help market products you were already looking at from the site you were already visiting. As such, I don't have any issue here. Their LinkedIn profile at ***** has some pretty interesting blog posts about how to market to your customer regardless of what device they are using and the effect of mobile customers on how to do marketing.
