Choice of Games is a publisher which publishes choose your own adventure stories. These are essentially books that have many different paths for you to go down. You decide how the story ends (well, of course the author really decides that....). The stories published here all feature choices that you can make that will affect how the story ends (and plays). The site is perfectly safe, and the suggestion that kids shouldn't visit is ludicrous. Yes, there are some violent ones (though, not extreme violence), and yes, there are some saucy scenes (but again, it's akin to the scenes you'd see in a Hollywood film). But these type of stories encourage creativity. Instead of reading a story that has a definite ending, you're reading a story that has an ending tailored to what you chose. The choices often make you think about morality, and that is something to encourage. And lastly, reading, whatever type, encourages imagination, which is essential for young people. If you let your kids play Call of Duty-type games, then you should most certainly let them play these.
