Crocker Communications was the first independent ISP in the Connecticut River valley of Massachusetts, and is still owned by the same family some 20+ years after I first purchased internet access from them. It's unfortunate that another person placed a low rating because he/she got some spam that passed through this ISP's domain. Same thing happens with Verizon, ATT, Comcast, etc. every day. Service from Crocker is a little on the pricey side due to a level of service unknown to the major players. Consequently, Crocker's clients tend to be businesses rather than individuals. Call with a problem, you are instantly connected to a person with the ability to resolve technical or billing issues on the spot. It's not unusual to have the phone picked up by the owners. When's the last time that happened with Verizon?
