This is a brilliant site and it can not only save you substantial money with transfers but with foreign card purchases too. Just to give you an example, recently I made a purchase of E6800 with my GBP Visa Debit. My bank charged me the market rate for the currency conversion, so no problem there. However, there is the 2% fee for foreign Visa transaction, which I believe all banks charge. So, this the result: MY BANK: E6800 >> £5863.70 CURRENCYFAIR: E6800 >> £5703.88 About £160 saving on the very same transaction!!! Obviously for small amounts there is no big difference for the cards. When you have to either transfer or buy foreign currencies, do check tough. CF will mostly likely save you sooooo much money. Not least, it's a more ethical way of dealing with money....especially if your bank is Barclays, HSBC and the like. Good luck!
