I don't know about other topics they cover, but when the Daily Kos gets to abortion or Planned Parenthood, you'd be hard pressed to find a worse source of information or analysis -- unless, of course, your goal is to play spin-doctor for the abortion lobby whenever a scandal comes along.
If you want a cutting-edge progressive echo chamber, though, you've definitely made a good choice.

The Kos is well known for left-wing rants and polemics. One of their previous writers had to be fired for making up his statistics out of whole cloth. Read with a grain of salt.

A fabulous resource for aspiring writers, and a great comfort for progressives, liberals and even conservatives who want to increase and balance the political information we all need. As a long time member I can attest that the discussions are often lively but fair. There's a reason this site is so well known on both ends of the political spectrum.

As another poster said, the assumption at KOS is Liberals good, Conservatives BAD. The simplistic thinking goes on and on from there.

Excellent site with left wing viewpoints to counter other mis-information sites. Not a hate site, maybe not what you like to hear if you are a right-wing leaning political individual but a truthful and good info political site for news.

DailyKos is one of the best information site on the net. Political discourse is always good.
