Device Doctor is advertised on their site as freeware, but it is very limited and can't download or install drivers, you are directed to the site to download your drivers which are full of rogue ads that distributes malware. You have to manually install each individual driver in a zip file. It is a complete scam to get you to buy a product or click on their ad-partner links.
It is much easier to visit your vendor's site and get the drivers in self installer format.

Bad site, you better get a torrent for Driver Genius Pro 12, or buy it from driver-soft.com, that one works for me.

The downloadable file contains virus, according to my avast antivirus software..

The site spends more time giving real estate to promoting their "Pro" version, but misses two important details: A direct download link for the Pro version (you have to download and install the Free version first, then try to update a driver), and it misses the price of the Pro version until sometime AFTER you've given your name, email and zip code. I chose not to continue.

You can't really do anything until you get the "pro" version, and even then I bet you won't be able to do anything.

It asked for my email address after I downloaded it and then it opened a spam site in a new tab. I don't know who has my email address now.

Can't download drivers. Instead it redirects you to Driver Updater or something.

Found this site through HowToGeek.com... and must say although not best, it is free and there are not many free offerings about. Given time, this could shape upto be something nice.

Have downloaded Device Doctor and found no malware. Have also done a scan and downloaded update from their server and the update worked. I think it is safe and FREE:)
