A ton of pop-up ads, many of which are not "family-friendly" (as this site claims to be). Overly-moderated, virus issues/malware attacks. Owner is aware, yet rarely responds and claims to have no knowledge of why this is happening and blames the site users, even with screenshots & proof that the viruses are coming from this site. Harbors scammers and is full of drama. Avoid at all costs.

Whatever virus/malware issues they may have had in the past seem fixed now. Plus I'm running FF and AdBlock Plus, and that knocks down just about every crappy thing that tries getting into my laptop from the web. Between whatever they've done to clean things up and my choice of browser/add-ons, I haven't gotten a single blip from them.

The site has numerous irritating adds and pop-ups; but those can be deterred with proper use of Firefox and Adblocker (or you could pay the piper and get a site membership to keep them away... ) However, the REAL problem is that the site is has long had a problem with viruses (of the Trojan variety) as well as malware/ adware crap. It nearly killed my computer. The owner has been aware of the problems, but chose to keep it swept under the rug as long as possible. All the while, only addressing the problem long enough to blame it on the site members. (Females that are clearly too stupid to properly protect their computers. Condescending much? Passing the buck a bit? Methinks so.) The site itself is a pretty great resource for cloth diapering and parenting in general. But sadly, many people just can't take the risk of losing their computer in order to benefit from the information that the site provides.
