I've used the Free version of them and everything works fine.

I am not really sure how I can adress the fact that Blueberry Mountain and whomever does not understand how software works. Digital defender has two versions - a free and a professional. The free has some limitations that the pro does not. There is no attempt made to push the user to pay. The free version does not remove infections on external discs, the pro version does. If you feel that is phishing. Then please go ahead and use some other software.

With regards to Blueberry mountain's comment.The free version of digital defender is free. However it does have limitations to it. These are clearly posted on our website in comparison table between free and pro.
