My friend clicked one of their ads offering WinRAR and it turned out the link was to an infected site which terminated his internet access to several sites such as Google; when he tried to access these sites he would be redirected to a fake Microsoft website telling him to download a spyware removal tool which was actually a virus. Luckily he was able to remove the virus and didn't download the fake spyware removal tool.
