It may well be that easyurl.net has occasionally been found on SPAM blacklists. However, that is not the vendor's fault unless you are expecting a vendor that promises to check each and every link submitted; I doubt it is possible even if it were promised. The detracting commenters here on myWOT do not seem to speak from experience with the vendor. For the most part, they repeat what they read elsewhere; that is simple hearsay, and I do not put much stock in it. The EASYURL service is provided by the same people who run registrar EASYDNS.ca. They are knowledgeable and conscientious. I have used them for the better part of a decade, and I am full of confidence in their products.

Rogue URL shortening service. EasyURL claims "Spam-FREE URL Shortening: We do not create redirects for URLs listed in SURBL.org. We delete spam redirects." This is either 1) a blatant lie, or 2) their system for querying SURBL is broken. Deceptive porn spammers whose domain is listed more than once in SURBL (Spam URI Realtime Blocklist) frequently disguise their links with EasyURL in Twitter spam. This has been going on for weeks, if not longer, and EasyURL is not complying with its own stated policy and is neither preventing nor shutting down these spam redirect links as they claim to do.
