economycarrentals.comは安全ですか？

I have been using the service for 10 years. I ask you to withdraw the good reviews that I wrote about them. The service has definitely deteriorated. The last 2 bookings were a negative experience. Payment was taken twice: on the website and at the car dealership. The dealership gave me a different car than the one I had booked, in poor condition. Prepayment cannot be returned. Long correspondence with this company does not lead to results. It is clear that the company is in a sad state and will close soon. Unfortunately, you will have to give them up forever. I don't recommend it!

While Economy Car Rentals markets itself as a "no hidden fees" car rental company and sells the rentals with "insurance included" I (1) had an opposite experience of this in my rental in Viriginia, USA. That is, even though the terms of the contract stated that I have insurance included in the rental this was not the case when picking up the car. I ended up having to pay about $150 more for the about $300 rental essentially bumping my rental cost 50%. After the trip (2) I of course contacted Economy Car Rental to complain but was met with a very cold and eventually rude response. The customer representative essentially responded and repeated over and over again that the terms of the contract would not have stated that I would have had insurance included. What was weird was that the response was true in the sense that their general terms of contract do note (in small print somewhere there hidden in the pages of text) that contracts might not have insurance included. BUT the terms of contract that my reservation confirmation was linked to did say that the insurance is included. I am contemplating whether I will proceed to file a fraud claim through a lawyer but I certainly will not rent from this company again and can't recommend it to anyone.
