Beware a wolf in sheep's clothing. Yes, these are some rather interesting and beautiful fractals made into screen savers, BUT....
AU 4 U has it correct. Connecting all sorts of computers to yours that you don't know anything about is in deed extremely risky, not only because of the potential to spread viruses and other mal-ware but could easily be a privacy risk, as well.

Check this out. It is a GOOD free screensaver site, where high rated screensaver bits (sheep) mate with others and blend them together. This creates beautiful (and likewise interesting) sheep.
