eligius.stは安全ですか？

The mining pool was used to perform a DDoS attack on a Bitcoin alt-chain. The owner of the site openly admitted to doing it here : ***** Other than that incident, the service has ran without any issues or malicious intent and continues to, although I would still advise Bitcoin miners to use small mining pools or mining pools which require no trust from the owner (eg. P2Pool).

The problem is eligius is just too easy to connect to, and people found to be an unwilling part of a botnet due to malware blame eligius when the problem is much deeper and serious than that, such as why they got malware in the first place. Eligius has been a legitmate bitcoin mining pool for years. Due to the ease of access though, and increasing attention to Bitcoin mining and easy profits, botnet owners have started using their botnet's processing power to (illegally) earn free money.

Incase you didn't know, this site is for the bitcoin pool Eligius which is ran by luke-jr. I'd love to know where the so called "malware" is on this site, it's purely a wiki explaining how to use the pool, and to register your namecoin/bitcoin address. The site is extremely trustworthy and contains no malicious content.
