THE worst site on the Internet... should be banned from search results appearing on any search engine. Trying to charge us for information from crappy forum discussions? They don't even have the best answers. Go to stackoverflow (http://stackoverflow.com/) for REAL experts. Public information should be free. Don't support these people

Site frequently makes untrue statements about their paid-for content. This site frequently claims a given question is answered in order to get paid subscriptions from visitors, when no such answer exists.

caveat emptor --- I've been a member of this site over 10 years. You have to understand that this site is people driven. I've gotten some great answers here, but you have to know enough to recognize true experts and the point-collecting-expert-wannabees.

I don't know why everybody says this is a bad site. There is a way you can get a free account without having to pay and these guys wrote complete PHP scripts for me because I didn't know how to myself back then.

I am a member on this site since 2003 and I believe is one of the most useful sites that I have visited on the internet. Exchange points for a solution on your problem. If you don't want to buy the points just help others on their problems and gather your points. Help the community and the community will help you back.

This site is quite informative.
You do NOT have to pay to see the information that others have already posted, only to ask a new question or to answer a question.
To the people complaining about bad info, it is a member solution board, so some of the info may be inaccurate as it is submitted by other people.
The site is in no way a scam or spam site as you do not have to pay to see any info.
Also, to the people who are comparing it to yahoo answers, this site is much more tech related and has much better "experts" answering the questions posted than on YA!.

I find the site quite useful for a variety of questions I have that have gone unanswered over several years. This is one of the few sites I visit first when I encounter specific problems.

I have used experts-exchange.com for years. I usually find great information there. It is at the bottom of the page. I have always felt like they are trustworthy.

This site pollutes google search results.

Was googling and got this site. Has adware. To wit, this site installed two spy ware objects: MACRO MEDIA\FLASH PLAYER\#SHAREDOBJECTS\MDCGHH3V\MEDIA.IGN.COM (Adware Flash Tracking Cookie) and Adware.Tracking Cookie (MEDIA.IGN.COM). SuperAntispyware cleaned these. This was just from opening the page and closing it! I just wanted to see what, if anything, would happen.
I'm SORRY, but the WOT rating is dead on! Those who think this site is good should look again! Yellow means yellow, and that means, not good or safe!

Once upon a time experts-exchange.com was a good site, but they got greedy and started charging. There are much better free sites.
