This site is not a scam. It is simply a pay site. Some of the solutions can be found for free on other forums, but the subscription to this site is worth it to a professional, because they have experts on highly specific software/issues. If you're looking for info on how move your iTunes folder, sure go to Yahoo Answers or some other user forum. For the average user, perhaps their service is not worth the money, but it is not a SCAM! If you're trying to troubleshoot a issue with Crystal Reports or get help with an SQL statement, go here and you can have a solution within the hour. For an IT professional whose time is more valuable than the subscription cost, it is a bargain.

This is not a scam site, nor a phishing site or anything of that nature. It is a site where people give answers for free. Although you need to have a membership to view/ask the answers, running a website that handles hundreds of thousands of hits per day requires money. And the "experts"? They don't get paid. It's merely folks helping out of good nature. I've never had an issue with the site doing anything illegal, immoral or fattening at all!

Excellent, helpful site. Answers are given by professionals in the field who are taking the time to help others. Answers are of higher quality BECAUSE it's a paid service. It's my first go-to site, and it's a rare problem I can't solve here. I value the work that goes into it and the advice I get from it. I've never had to un-do anything on my network as a result of steps they've led me through.

I've had great experience with this site. I've been a member off and on for years. On at least 3 occasions, it was the only place on the web that had the answer to my particular situation. I honestly don't understand all of the negative comments. Don't pan the site simply because you don't want to pay the subscription. That's simply not a fair representation.
