It's a good site, but don't sign up for any Facebook game promos, or do those silly IQ quizzes. Those are just put there by Google ads I think, so not FB's fault. Privacy is full marks from me, because it is perfectly private if you make your page private.....
I put child safety in the light green, just because of the general site purpose.... and disapproving parents.
Vendor reliability is as said above- making it RED ZONE!

overall it is a good site however kids should be monitored while using it not everyone adheres to the rules of use as far as appropriatness goes as well as some bots trying to use the facebook name out there in order to drop a virus through your email to phish

Great social networking site, safe to a certain degree, if you set your privacy settings properly you will be fine. you can make it so noone can add you, or see your profile. unless they are your friend

People who have a problem with "adult content" need to take some responsibility and PAY ATTENTION to what sites your kids go to. Plus there's "adult content" EVERYWHERE on the internet. Sheesh. If you don't like a certain site, DON'T GO THERE. WTF? Grow up and the adult content might bother you less.

There are inappropriate advertisements and it is known that there are pedophiles on the site. I would not suggest this for children without parental supervision and education about the dangers of online interactions.
