Yeah you can get viruses from this website.
If you add a bad application or if you go onto a bad profile you can get some.
I got a Trojan today on facebook after looking at a profile for I guess a bad app.

I would avoid putting too much personal information into the site. Some internet stalker guy might be able to find a lot of information about you. Personal information you delete is not really deleted the instant you delete it. The page is still there, however the link is detached from your profile. Also, have you heard of the waybackmachine?

La verdad no es una mala página, pero como eh visto, no se esfuerza mucho en mantener los datos privados del cliente como "privados", a menos que este haga una configuracion especial de sue cuenta (cosa que una persona común, como lo son la mayoría de sus clientes, no saben hacer). Entre varias formas que mantienen los datos privados como "publicos", es que se puede ver la foto de otros clientes que no tienes agregados como amigos, aunque necesitas tener un conocimiento de ciertas cosas para poder hacer eso.

Child use is not recommended as other user's information is completely free-speech based, allowing inappropriate pictures and content, etc.
Teen use should be monitored closely.

Anyone can get a membership to facebook, including children, you may have to input your age to get a membership, but even my 10yr old knows how to input a fake birthday to get an account, and this opens them up to making online friends that may be predaters.
