facebook has been notified of inline frames Denial of Service exploit with applications that it continues to allow. Their response is that they will fix it when it becomes a problem, not before.
Great site for networking and catching up with friends you've found hard to stay in contact with. NOT CHILD FRIENDLY. There is a great deal of alcohol propaganda and inappropriate images on the site. I would recommend only for ages 18 and older.
Is as safe as social networking sites can be. General safe for kids Ive never found anything that inappropriate there if it is flag it as such and it will probably get removed.
I have found the privacy options very customizable. You don't have to let anyone see anything about your profile that you don't want them to see. You just have to specify what privacy settings you want.
Facebook is as safe as an international social networking site could be...which is oftentimes vague and relegates one to a "buyer beware" situation. Applications ranging from the exciting to the ridiculous to the perverse, content which is oftentimes useful or amusing or downright vulgar, good people as well as screwballs, etc., one can expect to encounter here. If anything, I believe that Facebook does its best to moderate all of this...a tough job, to be sure, with millions of people freely interacting with one another.
