Positives definitely seem to outweigh the negatives. I am still wary about sharing too much, and the power the company has, but the social benefits are priceless.
Many users scam to get money with untrue stories from the fundraising pages. Profiles are constantly being hacked, Identity stolen, and malicious code spread. Lousy security.
Perfectly safe site, if used correctly; make sure to only accept friend requests from people you know, don't broadcast personal information to the public, etc. :)
La mayor red social del mundo, pero se requiere se mayor de edad para obtener una cuenta. Padres no deben dejar que sus hijos la utilicen sin supervisión.
It's facebook. Everyone knows this site. I don't really trust using this site though because it's able to track you everywhere you go and plus you have to use your real name and I'm not comfortable with that.
Good site. But too much personal information on someone's profile could harm the user if he/she is not careful. Not suitable for children due to adult profiles.
Google has handled my passwords for years. For every other site , no problems, then, there's Facebook. Where I have had to change my password , numerous times.I had to tell Adobe to shove it , they wanted me to change my password , for no other reason , that what's they wanted. When I tried to reset it to my original specs, they refused. so I told them to shove their account. I'm about ready to tell Facebook the same thing.
