Wenn man hier bei der Installation nicht aufpasst, installiert man sich Software die keiner haben will und keiner braucht.

Der PC Client installiert die Malware "MyStartSearch" mit, wenn man bei der Installation ein mal zu viel auf "OK" klickt. Die Malware leitet dann Suchumfragen um, und ändert die Startseite für Chrome (vermutlich auch andere Browser). Lässt sich nicht deinstallieren, erst mit dem Programm "AdwCleaner" bin ich es los geworden.

Hier wird das Programm MyPhoneExplorer angeboten, bei dem die ***** Toolbar mitinstalliert wird. Dies ist ein gemeiner Trojaner, den man schleunigst entfernen sollte, hat man ihn erst einmal.
Die Suchmaschiene ***** hat eine extrem negative WOT-Bewertung und ist bereits aus negativen Gründen bekannt. Da diese Seite diese Schadsoftware verbreitet gehört sie selbst so beurteilt.

MyPhoneExplorer is now bundled with malware/spyware similar to Opencandy ( ***** ). Avoid.
MPE used to be *the* go-to tool, now it's just useless junk and the author tries to milk the last cent out of it with this malware-ridden installer crap..

My antivirus program picked up "Trojan.ADH.2" with the myphoneexplorer_v2_5185.exe file

Attempted to install various browser helpers and an add-on to waterfox, put a shortcut to a register cleaner on my desktop. Spybot caught it all, luckily.
Avoid. Shame really, the software is superb.

Excellent mobile sync and backup software (Sony's and Nokia's is sub-sub-contracted BLOATware and disgustingly worthless). This is FREE and what software should be. Hats off to FJ.
