I have used this site for years and never had a problem with malware. It is not one of the most extensive lists of freeware out there, but it also does NOT try to scam you by slipping in shareware and $ware programs like some other supposed freeware sites do.

Many people here are referencing a MalwareDomains blacklist. This is outdated information (from 2009!) due to the fact that one of their servers was temporarily hijacked.
